My interview on Life Transitions, June 28 was with with Sarah Tomlinson. Sarah is an artist, yantrica, mother and author of Nine Designs for Inner Peace: The Ultimate Guide to Meditating with Color, Shape and Sound. She is the creator of Yantra Bliss Oracle Deck: 44 Exquisite Cards For Daily Healing and has just released The Sacred Yantra Coloring Book.

I first came across Sarah's work in Elena Brower's soulful newsletter for Yoga professionals Teach:Yoga, where Sarah's Yantra Bliss Cards were featured. I was immediately captivated by her Yantras. Yantras are mystical geometric diagram, traditionally used in India for the worship of deities and aid in meditation. Specific yantras are traditionally associated with specific deities. You can learn more about how Yantra's are used for meditation and personal transformation on Sarah's website . On her site you can also choose one of 24 Yantras for a virtual oracle card reading. The one you are drawn to indicates the quality you are presently resonating with.  It powerful to meditate upon the chosen form for inner and outer transformation.

When I chose my Yantra from Sarah's website the image that I was drawn to was mostly black - which seemed out of character, but it was definitely "the one". The card was Chinamasta, the Goddesses of intuition. It was uncanny as I was in the midsts of preparing for my interview for The Inner Shift Summit and already intrenched in meditations around inner wisdom.
